I am extremely excited to show off these next photos! I did this engagement session on two seperate occasions due to the rain, and it turned out PERFECT!
Over the last couple of weeks I have done a lot of research on how to get my photos looking the way I want straight off the camera. I enjoy doing the post-edit filters and actions, but I really wanted my work to speak for itself without the help of Photoshop. This session turned out exactly as I was hoping. It was HARD for me to even find a picture that I wanted to add a filter to! (To me, that's a good thing)
It was difficult to choose which ones to put up here because I love them all, but here are my absolute favorites from the session!
Can't wait to photograph the wedding in June 2010!!!

The Stephens Family
I love it when I get to photograph families. It makes me so happy when I know parents are getting pictures with their kiddos. Obviously as a mamma and a photographer, my house is adorned with pictures of Jaxson. Though, I'm rarely IN the picture because I'm TAKING the picture. Anyway...here are my favorites from the Stephens family session:

Catchin up on bloggin
Hello to all my lovely blog readers :) Though I have been much better at sharing with you all the awesome people I get to photograph, there are a few session I am behind on. (Thankfully it's my family).
Two of the people I love most in this world are my son Jaxson who's 3 and my precious little niece Brooklyn who was born at the beginning of October. I don't blog about Jaxson nearly as much as I would like to, mainly because I want to talk about the fabulous folks I work with. But, on a few occasions I think a mamma has a right to brag, and brag I shall in just a minute. Brooklyn, well...she has a special place in my heart. I never knew I could love a kid so much that wasn't mine, but oh boy so I love her SO much! That being said, here are my favorite pictures from my session with Jaxson, who am I kidding, every day is a session when you have a mamma for a photographer :) Here's a couple collages of all my favorites from my session with Jax for his three year pictures. I can't believe time has flown so quickly!
And of course being a mamma means I get interrupted while blogging, so the rest of my "updates" will have to be after while. Ta ta!

So I am editing this post a couple hours later. I had to show everyone my beautiful little niece, Brooklyn. Here are a few of my favorites from her session too!
Okay, I think that's all for tonight. Coming up this week:

~Christmas Card templates (yes it's that time of the year again).
Have a fabulous start to your week everyone!

Sarah's Baby Bump
I love pregnant women. I love making pregnant women feel beautiful. I especially love making sweet young pregnant women happy! Meet Sarah: she's totally adorable with her little baby belly and I can't wait to meet her sweet baby girl in February. I've not known Sarah that long but she and I have so much in common, it's a reminder to me that God has allowed me to walk through this particular path for a purpose. I love getting to talk labor and delivery with soon-to-be new mommies who are nervous about the process. It allows me to retell the amazing journey to motherhood with Jaxson and how much I enjoyed bringing him into this world. (By the way I have pictures of him to post soon...you have to come back and see them!) Back to the topic at hand....here are some of my favorites from her belly session:

Adam's Senior Session
Meet Adam...he's a super cool Senior from Homestead highschool. I met Adam in October when his sister Meghan got married.
Adam loves his super hot Mazda RX8, so we incorporated his car into some pictures as well. He lives on a beeeeautiful piece of land with his parents so I was super excited to take advantage of the scenery at their home.
Good luck with the rest of your school year Adam!
